Bug

fade effect is cool but lasts too long..

Several requests for this -- above is first one I saw

Is there a pref to disable or speed up the fade fx on startup? - I think it's great but it means I can't use any tabs until

Customization

Assign task to external button

Additionally, I use "External Application Buttons" to call an AutoIt Script that just presses the keys I assigned via

keyconfig as the "save-session-with-date-as-name" shortcut.

Faster way to copy Session Saver settings

You can copy your sessions much easier and faster into a file as you described. The settings in about:config

come from the file prefs.js in your profile folder. Close all instances of Firefox. Then open prefs.js using an editor

(even Notepad will do it) and search for your session. Or search for "sessionsaver". (You may want to turn off

word-wrap to see the different lines better.) Copy all lines of the needed sessions. Now you could open the

prefs.js of an other Firefox installation and paste the lines at the end of the file. (They will be sorted by Firefox.)

Start Firefox - and voilà: your sessions are here. You can even import the other preferences of SS in this way
