Firefox extensions that have been
"hacked" to work with Deer Park (Firefox 1.1) Alpha 2
These extensions have been available to the nightly build users for
several weeks. They are not "official" versions, but have been
modified by various individuals to work with the changes that have
taken place in Firefox since version 1.0. Many extensions work
"as is" with no modifications, and they can be found at the regular
extension sources. I have not tested these extensions, so
use at your own risk
As the original authors of the extensions listed here update
their extensions to work with the upcoming Firefox 1.1 release, the
"hacked" versions listed here will be removed. If you have
extensions that do not work in the Deer Park Alpha 2 release, the best
place to ask about them is this thread
on the
Mozillazine forums.
I want
to be clear that I have not hacked any
extensions myself, nor am I smart enough to know how to accomplish that
:(.
I have gotten several requests for hacked versions of specific
extensions. You will have a much better chance of finding help in
the forum thread listed above. If someone has hacked an extension
to work with the trunk builds, send me an email at dgrimm
at mewlan dot com and I would be happy to host or link to
it.

for providing many of the "hacked" extensions, as well as several

Update 7/6/05 Updated page in preparation for Deer Park Alpha 2.
Added updated Tabmix Plus and Session Saver extensions.
Removed Sage as most recent "official" version (1.3.5) is
compatible with Deer Park. Removed the MiniT extension as that
functionallity is not built into Deer Park Alpha 2. Added the
"reload every" extension.
Update 6/20/05 Added SessionSaver extension -- latest version of
very popular extension is now Deer Park compatible. Added
link to Tabbrowser Preferences update that works with Deer Park
Updated 6/9/05: Added Image Zoom, link to "official
Forecast fox" that works with Deere Park Alpha, and updated Tab Mix
info and versions
