The
purpose of this page is to provide a host for extensions that DO NOT
work with the upcoming Firefox 1.5 release and current nightly builds. The listing below is ONLY for those extensions that
are
not available from what we consider to be the "official" extension
source -- Mozilla
Update
Once we are aware of an updated compatible extension is available
from
that source, we will drop the listing and hosting of that extension on
this page.
We do maintain a page containing a mix of extensions that may be
available on the official site, but we have choosen to host or link to them for a
variety of possilble reasons. They may be popular, useful to
"early adopters", or just an extension we "like". Our "Other
Extensions for Deer Park" page lists these.
Almost all of these extensions have been modified and contributed by
members of the Mozillazine forums, many thanks to them.
Please Note (only applies to trunk NOT Firefox 1.5-Deer Park:
Development of the next version of Firefox after 1.5 (probably
2.0) was recently begun. For those testing "trunk" builds, all
max versions of extensions on this page have been bumped to make them
"trunk" compatiable. However, please be advised there will be
many large changes to the trunk code and it is highly likely many
extensions will have to have their core code updated to work with trunk
builds. Use at your own risk...
